ECO-FRIENDLY PROCESS
PRODUCT PRINT
The ink we use is an eco-friendly, water-based solution that’s Oeko-Tex Eco-Passport certified and CPSIA compliant. It also features replaceable ink pouches that reduce plastic use, minimizing its environmental impact. This makes it a highly sustainable choice for printing. When applied to your garment, the ink is absorbed into the fibers, creating a soft, vintage look that feels like it's part of the fabric. Unlike traditional prints, it won’t peel or crack over time.
Key Benefits of Our Ink:
- Water-Based: The ink’s primary component is water, making it less harmful to the environment compared to solvent-based alternatives.
- Garment Print: The ink is printed directly into the fibers of the garment, creating a soft, smooth finish with a vintage look that won't crack or peel. It provides a "not-there" feel that's incredibly comfortable.
- Oeko-Tex Certified: This certification ensures the ink meets stringent safety and environmental standards, making it safe for use in clothing production.
- CPSIA Compliant: Fully compliant with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, guaranteeing safety for consumers.
WATER REDUCTION
We prioritize sustainability by using approved dyes, chemicals, and softeners. This ensures that the fabrics are free from hazardous chemicals and environmentally harmful substances. Any wastewater produced during the process is carefully treated at water reclamation sites, guaranteeing that no dyes or chemicals are released into our natural water systems.
ENERGY REDUCTION
We are committed to reducing energy consumption across all of our operations. At our Los Angeles headquarters, we’ve integrated motion-sensor LED lighting, installed skylights in every building to maximize natural light, and set up electric car charging stations to encourage our team to embrace eco-friendly transportation. Additionally, we are exploring the installation of solar panels at select facilities, which will not only power a significant portion of our operations but also generate excess energy to support the local community grid.
WASTE REDUCTION
In our Los Angeles cutting facility, we have optimized processes to minimize waste. All fabric scraps are collected, recycled, or repurposed into useful products. We proudly partner with vendors who transform these materials into items like baby bibs, dog bed stuffing, and upholstery filling. By reducing waste and reimagining what can be reused, we strive to ensure that nothing goes to waste.
